NERDWALLET BRANDED CONTENT
Goal
NerdWallet planned a new, large-scale ad campaign about achieiving your money goals. Before this campaign launched, I was asked to revise content for several touchpoints to better align with the ad messaging.
Process
Working with my design partner, I created new content for the pre-registration flow for the NerdWallet app (what a user sees after clicking on the app in the app store, before downloading). The content had an aspirational tone which aligned with the new ad campaign and highlighted new features in the app.
On NerdWallet's high-visibility homepage, I revamped the text above the hero menu and added new questions to what we call our smorgasbord menu. I also changed links in the hero menu tiles to create a consistent experience with the ad campaign topics and to encourage exploration.
Impact
The redesigned and revised copy for the app pre-registration flow, along with the new ad campaign, resulted in increased app installation rates. The updated hero menu copy and links also led to increased engagement.
